Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These Terms apply to participation in Ignite programmes, mentoring services, community spaces and related offerings provided by Charlotte Desorgher through Ignite Your Future.

By purchasing or participating in any Ignite service, you agree to these Terms.

Design Your Future Programme

Programme Participation

Design Your Future is a structured group programme delivered over a defined period. Participants are responsible for attending live sessions wherever possible and for engaging actively with the programme process.

Refunds Before Programme Start

Participants may request a full refund up to 14 days before the programme start date. Alternatively, participants may transfer their place to a future cohort.

  • One transfer is permitted without additional charge.
  • Any requests outside these terms may be considered at Ignite’s discretion in exceptional circumstances.

Refunds After Programme Start

Participants who attend the first session and feel the programme is not right for them may request a refund within seven days of that first session.

  • No refunds will be issued after the second session has taken place.
  • Ignite reserves the right to make exceptions in exceptional circumstances at its sole discretion.

Session Recordings

Programme sessions may be recorded and made available to participants through a private online area. Recordings are provided to support review of programme material and to assist participants who are unable to attend a live session.

  • Recordings may include participant contributions.
  • Ignite reserves the right to change access arrangements or remove recordings in the future.

WhatsApp Community

Participants may be invited to join a private WhatsApp group for their cohort. The group is intended to provide connection, encouragement and discussion between sessions. Participation is optional.

  • Participants are expected to communicate respectfully and maintain the confidentiality of other members.
  • Ignite reserves the right to remove participants from community spaces where behaviour breaches these Terms.

Private Mentoring

Mentoring Structure

Private Mentoring is offered in either a three-month or six-month format. The appropriate duration is agreed between Charlotte and the client before the mentoring relationship begins.

The mentoring relationship includes:

  • Two mentoring sessions per month
  • Sessions of up to two hours each
  • Reasonable WhatsApp support between sessions

Mentoring Commitment

The mentoring relationship begins on the agreed start date and concludes at the end of the agreed term unless otherwise agreed. Clients are expected to engage actively with the mentoring process.

Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled where necessary. Ignite recognises that caring responsibilities, health issues and unexpected life events may arise. There is no charge for reasonable rescheduling requests.

  • Rescheduled sessions should normally take place within four weeks of the original session date.
  • The mentoring relationship remains time-based and does not automatically extend because of postponed sessions.
  • Ignite reserves the right to agree alternative arrangements where exceptional circumstances arise.

Payment Plans

A three-month or six-month mentoring engagement represents a commitment for the agreed term. Payment plans are a method of payment and do not constitute a monthly subscription.

  • Clients remain responsible for the full agreed fee for the duration of the engagement.
  • Ignite reserves the right to vary these arrangements where exceptional circumstances arise or where both parties agree that an alternative arrangement is appropriate.

The Guide

The Guide is an ongoing, flexible support relationship designed around the individual client’s needs and circumstances. Session frequency, timing and duration are agreed collaboratively between Charlotte and the client. The Guide is charged on a session-by-session basis.

Ending the Arrangement

Either party may discontinue the arrangement following completion of any booked session.

Confidentiality

Charlotte’s Commitment

Information shared during mentoring sessions, programme participation and private conversations will be treated as confidential. Information will not be shared without permission except:

  • Where required by law
  • Where there are serious concerns regarding safety or wellbeing

Participant Commitment

Participants agree to respect the privacy and confidentiality of other participants. Personal stories, experiences and information shared within programmes, community spaces or group discussions should not be disclosed outside those spaces without permission.

Participation and Conduct

Participants are expected to:

  • Treat one another with kindness and respect
  • Respect differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Contribute to a safe and constructive environment

These expectations apply equally to:

  • Live sessions
  • Online communities
  • WhatsApp groups
  • Other programme-related spaces

Ignite reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme or community space where behaviour is abusive, discriminatory, harassing, persistently disruptive, or significantly impacts the experience of other participants. No refund will be due where removal results from a serious breach of these Terms.

Boundaries and Professional Scope

Ignite provides mentoring, education, facilitated reflection, guidance and personal development support.

Ignite does not provide:

  • Medical advice
  • Psychological treatment
  • Psychotherapy
  • Counselling
  • Legal advice
  • Financial advice

Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and outcomes. Outcomes vary according to the individual, their circumstances and their level of engagement with the process. No specific results can be guaranteed.

Where Charlotte believes that a participant would be better supported by a therapist, counsellor, medical professional or other specialist, she may recommend that support before continuing with Ignite services.

Intellectual Property

All programme materials, recordings, frameworks, resources and related content remain the intellectual property of Charlotte Desorgher and Ignite Your Future. These materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, sold, taught, shared publicly or used commercially without prior written permission.

Service Changes

Ignite reserves the right to make reasonable changes to programme content, schedules, delivery methods, online platforms and supporting materials where necessary.

Illness and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

If Ignite is unable to deliver a session, programme or service due to illness, family emergency, technical issues or circumstances beyond reasonable control, Ignite reserves the right to reschedule the affected session or make alternative arrangements.

Termination

Ignite reserves the right to terminate a mentoring, programme or community relationship where continuing participation would be inappropriate, unsafe, or contrary to these Terms. Where termination results from a serious breach of these Terms, no refund will be due.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
