Design Your Future
A six-week guided programme to design the next chapter of your life
with clarity, structure, and real support.
For women who know they are not done.
Perhaps you know you want something more from the years ahead,
but you can’t quite work out what that looks like.
Or perhaps your life has changed suddenly,
in a way that has changed the future you thought you were going to have.
You may have spent months, or even years, thinking about what comes next.
Turning over possibilities.
Making lists.
Talking to friends.
Perhaps you have several ideas.
Perhaps you have none.
Or perhaps you have a vague sense of something you want,
but can’t quite bring it into focus.
The problem isn’t that you haven’t thought about it enough.
It may be that thinking harder simply isn’t going to give you the answer.
That’s where Design Your Future begins.
Design Your Future is a guided process that takes you from uncertainty to clarity.
And then turns what you discover into a practical plan for a future that feels rich, joyful and uniquely your own.
You're probably using the wrong part of your mind
Most of us have spent a lifetime developing our analytical mind.
It’s brilliant at solving problems,
weighing up options,
organising information and making plans.
But when you’re trying to imagine a future that doesn’t exist yet, it can actually get in the way.
You think harder.
Make another list.
Ask other people what they think.
Go round the possibilities again.
And instead of becoming clearer,
you can find yourself increasingly tied up in knots.
Because at this stage, you’re asking the wrong part of your mind to do the job.
There is another part of the mind that works differently.
It’s the part that produces the unexpected idea in the shower.
The connection that suddenly appears while you’re out on a walk.
Something you weren’t consciously trying to solve suddenly becomes clear.
Creative people learn how to find this state for themselves.
What most of us are never taught is how to get there deliberately.
And you don’t have to be creative to do it.
In Design Your Future, I teach you how to access this part of your mind deliberately.
We give it a clear brief – a job to do –
and then create the conditions that allow it to work.
Ideas emerge.
Connections are made.
Things you hadn’t consciously known about yourself can begin to surface.
Only then do we bring the practical, analytical mind back in –
to make sense of what has emerged,
decide what matters,
and turn those discoveries into choices and a practical plan.
One helps you discover what you really want.
The other helps you work out what to do about it.
You need both – but in the right order.
What this programme is - and isn't
Design Your Future is not therapy.
It’s not a support group.
It’s not a pre-recorded online course you’ll abandon by week three.
It is a live, guided, six-week process, led personally
by Charlotte Desorgher,
in a small group of no more than seven women.
Or one-to-one if you prefer to have Charlotte’s undivided attention.
People often assume it’s life coaching but it’s not.
Life coaching and Design Your Future start from opposite places.
Design Your Future doesn’t begin by asking you to set goals.
Because until you’ve discovered what you really want, you can’t know whether the goals that first occur to you are the right ones.
So before we start making plans, we need to go deeper.
We need to get beyond the obvious answers –
what you’ve always done, what other people think you should do,
or what seems sensible –
and discover what really matters to you now.
First, I guide you through a series of structured prompts and exercises
designed to give your intuitive, creative mind a clear brief
and create the conditions for ideas, connections and possibilities to emerge
that you may not reach through analytical thinking alone.
Then we bring the practical mind back in –
making sense of what has emerged,
testing it against the realities of your life,
making choices…
And turning what you’ve discovered into a plan you can actually use.
From a vague idea to action
“I had a vague idea about what I wanted to do –
so I did wonder what I would get from Ignite.
I got so much.
A clear vision replaced my vague idea, supported by a three-year plan to achieve it.
I also had the confidence to take some steps towards my future.
I set a retirement date, told my employers, and booked an exhibition.”
– Alison Ranson, professional artist in the making
Upcoming programmes
The next Design Your Future programme begins on Sunday 11th October.
The sessions run every Sunday for six weeks from 4pm-6pm on Zoom.
The final session is on the 15th November.
The group is limited to a maximum of seven women.
All the sessions are recorded for you, so if you miss one you can catch up.
As well as an initial 1-1 discussion, every participant receives a 90 minute private session, later along, or after the process, to untangle any knotty challenges, or discuss the practicalities of their individual plan.
And there’s a private WhatApp group to share and discuss both during and after the programme has completed.
If you’d like to talk to me about whether Design Your Future is right for you, book a conversation with me, with no obligation or expectation.

Frequently asked questions
Is Design Your Future a group programme or one-to-one?
Design Your Future is one programme, with two ways to experience it.
You can join a small group of no more than seven women,
or work privately with Charlotte one-to-one.
The underlying Life Design Method is the same.
In the group, you also have the experience of going through the process alongside other women –
hearing what emerges for them,
sharing discoveries and learning from the conversations that develop along the way.
One-to-one gives you Charlotte’s undivided attention,
with the process shaped more closely around you,
your circumstances and what begins to emerge.
Both take you through the same underlying journey –
the choice is simply about which way of working suits you best.
Is Design Your Future fully guided?
Yes. This is a live, fully guided process.
Charlotte leads you through the exercises,
prompts and conversations that make up the Life Design Method.
You won’t be given a collection of materials and left to work through them alone.
In the small-group programme,
the live sessions are also recorded and held on a secure site,
so you can return to them between sessions or catch up if you need to miss one.
In one-to-one you are given your own private recordings
and notes from Charlotte.
In the one-to-one programme
you also have private access to Charlotte via WhatsApp.
Will I come away with something practical?
Yes. Reflection and discovery are only the first part of the process.
By the end of Design Your Future, you will have your own Life Design plan – a clear picture of where you want to be in three years,
worked back into one-year, six-month and immediate priorities.
You leave knowing not only what you want,
but how you can begin moving towards it immediately.
Is Design Your Future right for me?
Design Your Future is for you if you know you want to think more intentionally about the years ahead,
but you don’t yet have sufficient clarity about what you want them to look like.
You might feel completely uncertain about what comes next.
You might have several possibilities competing for your attention.
Or you may already have a vague idea that you want to explore more deeply and turn into something real.
If you already know what you want and are looking instead for support, perspective and accountability while you make it happen,
Guidance & Accountability may be a better fit.
I'm Charlotte, founder of Ignite
I’ve spent decades learning to read people –
what drives them, what holds them back,
and what they need that they haven’t yet been able to name.
Then life brought me to exactly the transition I now help other women navigate.
And I discovered there was nothing out there designed for who we actually are.
Ignite exists because this generation of women deserves something built specifically for them.
Not retirement clubs. Not life coaching.
Not a course that hands you someone else’s answers.
A guided process that helps you find your own.
